Geographical location : the mountain bike office

Description :

This is a must for all bike lovers – it has been called the «Mountain bike trail Mecca ». The Leisure Base at Buthiers has the biggest park for bikes in the Ile de France region (more than 200 bikes).

Because of its long history and its label « Fédération Française de Cyclo Tourism » many regional and world events are organised here such as the World Cup Trial, the French Cross Country Championship. It has even served as a stage in the “Tour de France” race.

Rent a bike or take a mountain bike/fun bike lesson. You have the choice between KMW, QBX, tandems, scooters, electric bikes etc ...

120 km of signposted trails – 8 routes of between 3 and 40km – ranging from green to red in difficulty. The base also has a bike-wash and tyre pumping facilities.

Material provided :

During the lesson : Mountain bikes or Fun bikes, helmets.

Teaching team :

Given by a qualified teacher.
Groups of 12 people maximum per teacher.

Safety advices :

Respect des consignes des moniteurs.
Présence obligatoire d’un accompagnateur du groupe lors de la séance.
It is obligatory to wear a helmet.
